Maui Wowie Restorative Cuticle Oil

Maui Wowie Cuticle Oil is was born from our love of Hawaii and all the natural ingredients of the islands. Hula Moon is committed to finding the finest quality ingredients available and this product is no exception.

Many cuticle oils rely on wonderful jojoba oil as their base oil. This can be difficult for those with a sensitivity to it. We formulated Maui Wowie formula without jojoba oil for those with sensitivities to it.

Ingredients:  Fractionated Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Vitamin E Oil.

Our base oil for this recipe is fractionated coconut oil. In spite of its name, the coconut is not a nut, it is a fruit in the drupe family.  Our coconut oil has properties that allow it to be  penetrate quickly and deeply into skin.   These same properties make  it feel silky and moisturized without leaving a greasy residue but hydrated and enriched since it has an abundance of oxidants.

Avocado oil is rich in fatty acids is excellent for moisturizing the skin. It contains potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients that can aid in nourishing and moisturizing.  Topically,  Avocado is a vitamin-rich carrier oil works as a rehydrating treatment for that soothes and enhances texture. It has smoothing properties for the look of wrinkles.  It works to  tighten skin, and diminishes the appearance of scars, and unwanted skin blemishes.

Grapeseed oil is a light, Vitamin E packed, carrier oil thatabsorbs easily into the skin and delivers powerful moisture without irritations, or leaving an oily residue, or clogging pores.

Sweet Almond Oil is filled with nutrients and antioxidants, including vitamin E, A, B1, B2, B6. Aids in protecting your nails from peeling, cracking, breaking and dryness.

Kukui Nut oil is packed with polyunsaturated acids that moisturize skin.  Kukui Nut Oil  properties are oleic and linoleic acids to help soothe and moisturize by locking water into the skin.  It's naturally derived, lightweight, and non-comedogenic, which means it is easily absorbed into the skin.

Macadamia Nut is packed with monounsaturated acids for moisturization as well. Macadamia oil has proeprties that are great for softening skin, regenerating skin cells, moisturizing skin, and is a natural anti-inflammatory. 

Natural Vitamin E aides in nourishing and protecting the skin.
